DEFRA Approved Stovax Stoves

Stovax are constantly improving their range and ensuring that stoves are attractive, efficient and cleanburning. The Stockton range of steel stoves from the tiny 3 upto the large 7 have been DEFRA tested and approved for use in smokeless zones. The popular cast iron Huntingdon 25 is also approved for use in someless zones such as central London and Cambridge.

Stovax and the 12mm Superimposed hearth

Many models in the Stovax range have been tested and approved to stand on a 12mm superimposed hearth (because the temperature underneath does not exceed 100°C). You do not need a constructional hearth to install such a stove, greatly increasing your options when choosing a location.
