Log Arches
The Junior shown left is the most indispensable back saving tool. Junior can pick up and carry any straight section of log from 4" to 16" in diameter weighing up to 1000 pounds and is able to fully suspend a 16' log by grabbing its midpoint or just beyond. The axe is hand-forged and made from Swedish axe steel using traditional methods in use since 1697.
The steel is stuck several times, increasing its density and thereby the durability of the axe.
Has a clear hard zone within which the axe can be sharpened whilst not detracting from the strength of the edge.

Damp wood is the #1 cause of blackened glass, blocked flues and low heat output. The same rules apply now as they did in the stone age, don't burn damp wood. Stove manufactures recommend that fuel has a moisture content of less than 20%. See our Wood Fuel Quality page for more info.

Kiln dried logs provide the ultimate clean burn with the maximum heat output. The product itself is unique in that it is packed in an attractive recyclable polythene bag providing the customer with a clean and convenient pack. After seasoning logs in the open air, fuel is transferred to wood fired kilns. The result is extremely dry wood fuel. Ideal for woodburning stoves.

The Caframo Ecofan is a heat-powered fan designed to circulate the warm air created by a wood-stove. Operating over a wide range of stove top temperatures; between 65°C and 345°C. These fans do not use batteries or mains power, instead they generate electricity from heat absorbed from the stove body.
